		<description>I agree with the other comments here.  You all make the point about the &quot;GL&quot; needing better planning.  Nobody is asking for reporting tools with planning functionality.  This makes no sense to me and these decisions are being based out of ignorance rather than customer need.

Like I said in my first post.  It took the MR team 6 or 7 years to develop a fraction of FRx.  Writing planning/budgeting functionality (something they have no experience in) is going to take decades.

The Dynamics leadership is completely missing the boat and I still predict that 2 or 3 years from now we&#039;re going to see this revisited again as MR will not be able to deliver.</description>

		<description>Good analysis of MS regression on PPS.  I am a little disappointed that MS pulled the plug.  Dynamics GP needs a more rebust planning tool than Forecaster if they want to compete with the big dogs.  Clearly, moving the performance management into MOSS as a service is a huge plus to getting distribution and buy-in.

Regarding FRx, I see it being around for a long time to come since it is paired with products other than GP.  Writing GL based reports couldn&#039;t get any easier.
