Convergence is one of the most important events of the year for Microsoft Dynamics GP. As a Microsoft Dynamics GP Client, Convergence has a world of valuable offerings. Leveraging perspective from an industry leader, Andy Vabulas would be the expert with over 15 years of experience. Here is what he has to say about Convergence and your advantage. “Convergence is the best place to learn how to take your Dynamics solution to the next level. You get to hear from the Microsoft leaders…what they are thinking and planning. Surrounded by 8800 other folks who use the same software is extremely beneficial to you. You get to meet your peers and see how others have solved many of the same issues you face on a daily basis. To top it off, there are post Convergence offers which include 20% off any software purchases through May 28, 2010. Quite a good deal and great return on your Convergence investment.”
A lot of talent, creativity, planning, long days and nights go into delivering I.B.I.S., Inc.’s expertise and personality to attendees. The days leading up to Convergence 2010 Andy says, “We worked our tails off!” As I have witnessed, Andy takes Convergence very seriously, while he and his team deliver a powerful set of exhibits and presentations to their audience. Taking Convergence 2010 and Atlanta by storm he remarks, “We had two booths and two events at Convergence. We participated in the Advanced Distribution Partners booth and the IBIS booth in the Expo. We also had a fantastic client appreciation party on the rooftop terrace of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce that was well attended by our clients and Microsoft executives. The famous Randy and Andy Party was another great success for Microsoft Employees and Partners. The IBIS team came through big time. I know the marketing team is glad Convergence is over! They can get some well deserved rest.” As I inquired from other sources of the famous “Randy and Andy Party,” this party is legendary. In addition, the client appreciation party was well attended, and the after party solution discussions went well into the late hours. Now, that’s commitment.
If you missed it, Convergence 2010 was held in the “ATL.” The excitement and anticipation for turnout was monumental. The office energy peaked as employees reached out to clients and the general public alike. As Andy states, “We expected to have the largest turnout of any Microsoft Partner since we were in our corporate office hometown. And we did!! It was fantastic to see everyone and catch up. We even had some of our new clients and I am very appreciative of the time our more veteran clients spent with them. A highlight for me was to spend time with Upward Sports and Krill Tartarinov discussing Upwards Sports’ success providing the best sports experience for every child they touch. They have a very impressive story and their ability to use Dynamics while delivering on their mission is one everyone should emulate. Congratulations to Upwards’ team on their Microsoft Dynamics Customer Excellence Award for Continuing Excellence!” As I have observed something about Andy that you will notice too is that his customers are a priority. He is genuinely excited to have the opportunity to talk to you and remembers everything about the people he meets. I deemed it Andy-onomics but serving clients is where his heart is at.
Convergence 2011 planning is already underway and the venue is schedule to be held once again in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia World Congress Center during the week of April 11, 2011. MARK THE DATE!!!
