Linking Users to Employees for Purchase Requisitions in Dynamics AX 2009

Before a user can create a purchase requisition, the user must first be linked to an employee in AX.  To link a user to an employee, go to the Administration module and open the Users form. Search for the desired user in the table, highlight that user, and select the User Relations button. Once the form opens, go to the General tab, and highlight the appropriate user type (Internal / External) and choose the corresponding employee or account. Close the forms and now the user can create a purchase requisition.
Permissions for the user can also affect whether or not a purchase requisition can be created.
