I am implementing GP Dynamics Service Call Management. However, I looking a simple way of importing the Equipment.

I have researched e-connect and DTS and niether of these two methods work.

Is there any suggestion on how to get these in, it is more than 3000 equipment

      Hi,
You can use the standard Table Import feature which is a tool with Integration Manager. The table name to import to is Serial Master. You need to know the next number to use for the EquipId field (sequential number), which you can find in the SVC00999.EQUIPID. The import file (csv or tab delimited is best), should have the equipid, serial number, item number, customer number, address id as well as the address details( contact, street, city, state, zip, timezone), install date, install status . You should set the Qty to 1 and set both Serial and SVC_Serial ID to the item’s serial number. After a successful import, update the SVC00999 with the next EquipID.

Why wouldn’t eConnect work for Equipment? There is an eConnect schema for Equipment records. Thanks! Denni
