Dynamics GP 2010 Field Service – New Billing Frequency Options

There are a Lot of new features in field service. One of the more notable is the option for additional billing frequencies in Contract Administration. Now you can have an unlimited number of custom billing frequencies.
First, let’s look at Dynamics GP prior to 2010. Below is version 10.
You are only given the option for a billing day, see Bill Day “day the invoice will be billed” and Frequency “how often the customer will be billed.”
In Dynamics GP 2010…
You are given the options
- “Frequency Value Type” which is either “Every” or “At.”
- Fill in X number then select “Days, Weeks, Months or Years.”
- “Bill on Day” is the date to bill the customer.
This new feature has warrented tremendous positive customer feedback. Thank you field service development team.
