Project Management: Managing Difficult Meetings

Posted January 21st, 2010 / No Comments

I know I don’t usually post about Project Management, but I thought this article was interesting. If anyone has ever been involved in a difficult meeting or discussion with clients or team members, this article will help. I know I’ve been involved in my share of difficult meetings, and it’s always been a personal challenge of mine to be able to first of all, say what needs to be said without being too blunt or offensive, and finally, bring the focus back to the agenda at hand.

The author of the article, Dana Brownlee, does a great job in not only providing insight into how to discover the troublemakers, but she also provides excellent detailed examples of how to resolve the issues. Anyone hoping to become a more efficient and effective Project Manager, especially in IT implementations, will benefit from reading her article.
