So what do we know about upgrades? Speaking candidly, clients who try to upgrade by themselves most often find themselves a bit overwhelmed and confused as upgrades are not as easy as clicking a few buttons. This can be very costly to a company. What I can say in observing consultants highly seasoned in upgrade experience is that, “They Rock.” Andy purposely mandates the training of consultants for the purpose of serving clients with upgrade needs. As he says, “With several hundred Dynamics GP clients it is imperative we make it easy for our clients to upgrade. We consider this a core competency of IBIS. We can do upgrades better than most everyone in the Dynamics community. Having experienced people who do it every day helps tremendously. If you only do a few or only do it part time, you cannot get great at it. Our scale allows us to be the best. And don’t forget, we have the best Dynamics Development team around to fill in any gaps!”
What does all of this mean to you as a client? Answer: More opportunity to better utilize your Microsoft Dynamics GP system. The more you know the better you can cut cost, streamline, and provide better reporting while stimulating a cost reduction in your own product delivery approach. The objective is to create a cost reduction flow through to promote your bottom line growth.
